Learn About Our Revolutionary Organum Medicinalis Healing Instrument

The therapeutic application of sound and music is not a new concept. It has been done by healers and shamans for thousands of years, and in many indigenous societies, sound and music was and still is vital for the well being of the community. We as humans are designed for sound; we are sound.

The art of sound healing has been re-discovered, and has made great strides in the last decades. Today, we are fortunate that science is able to validate the work of sound healers, and prove beyond doubt that sound and music are very powerful influences on our state of health on all levels, from the physical to the spiritual. Sound healers employ ancient as well as new methods, from sacred sounds from many sources worldwide, to frequencies used for very specific goals.

Science is also able to measure the difference between the effects of natural sound and sounds generated electronically.

At Essential Resonance, we prefer to work with natural sound, and in the case of music; acoustic instruments.
Recorded music and some electronic sounds may be used for specific goals.

Sound healing does not promise a cure, but powerful methods are used:
- To assist the body’s own amazing ability to heal itself, or cure itself, for which frequent deep relaxation is necessary.
- To move the emotions and cause the un-blocking of energies, necessary for emotional healing.
- To charge the nervous system for improved functioning.
- To move into the realm of spirit with cross cultural sacred sound.
